Post-It Notes for geeks

We’ve all come across and possibly used post it notes (well most of us have anyways), for those who haven’t take a look at their possible uses click here. The problem with these things is that they are wasted a lot, so the bright people over at Sequoia Studio came up with the idea of re-usable ones made from e-paper and, well, we don’t really expect this to work.

Well how it works is fairly straightforward, you get 25 e-paper notes and you can use a stylus to write on them. They recharge by solar power and a minute’s worth of charging will last it a day. You can change colors, set the date and time and set alarms (which make it flash at the appropriate time to grab your attention).
But this is why we don’t think it will work: Post-It notes aren’t something you take care of, it won’t be a good idea to lose these or the stylus however because they aren’t likely to come cheap. Furthermore, the most attractive feature in these things is re-usability, I mean a Post-It note is fairly obvious as it is and the alarm will not make much of a difference. But at the end of the day, people would prefer the simple pen and paper because it is so much cheaper and easier to obtain and use.
